Samsung Galaxy Note 9 – Known Issues and how to fix them

The awesome Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the best Samsung has to offer when it comes to Display, Camera and Battery. The Galaxy note 9 and S-Pen both are provided with highest protection against Dust and water and its water carbon cooling systems ensures optimal gaming experience without any heating issue.

The complete combo in terms of features and look made many waves among the fans but like any other device, there is no perfect device available yet. So, in case you encounter any issues with your Galaxy Note, look out for possible solutions below. The list is non-exhaustive, so we tried to cover common issues in our blog below.

  • Navigation keys unresponsive – Many users complained about freezing of navigation keys in bottom and the only way around is to restart the phone which resolves the issue. The issue is linked with one of the updates in Samsung Pay and users have found that once you set up Samsung pay, the issue will not repeat. Weird? Yes, it is possible that keys are blocked due to some invisible box which pops up. If you don’t wish to set up Samsung Pay, you can wait for the next update which shall resolve such issue.
  •  Bluetooth issues – Though older variants of Note had Bluetooth problems where users can see the device but cannot connect with it. This has been the problem with other Android devices in general which has been fixed in Android 8.1. Galaxy note 9 users complained about not able to connect to devices and frequent disconnection. Though this issue was fixed in Samsung updates, you can clear the cache in Bluetooth settings which shall erase all pairings.

  •  Few seconds lag in Camera – While clicking pictures or taking videos, if your camera lags for few seconds, try clearing your cache. There is no root cause identified with this issue yet and Samsung is looking into the root cause too.
